...via Ballarat, the Sunraysia Hwy and the Pyrenees Hwy

If you live on the Western side of Melbourne, or just want a bit of variety, getting to Dunolly via Ballarat is worth considering.

Head towards Ballarat via the Western Hwy (accessed from the Western Ring Rd).  Bypass Ballarat, and take the exit to the Sunraysia Highway towards Avoca.  Just as you've passed the town centre of Avoca, keep your eye out for the turnoff to Dunolly on your right. Dunolly is about 30km away from here.
